There is nothing I like better than a great game on my Android then a great game that is free and Pumpkins vs. Monsters is both great and free.
This app from RunnerGames Studios is a combination of bejeweled and Plants vs Zombies. The monsters are coming from the top of the screen down towards your line, you must stop them before they get there. Your arsenal is to combine three or more same colored pumpkins and then launch them bowling ball style at the enemy. You collect coins from the fallen dead and use the money to buy weapons that you can also use at will to destroy the monsters as well.
The game play is smooth with simple yet nice graphics although it doesn't have the humor of Plants it will definitely give you many hours of enjoyment.
